Texas Court Allows Oil Company Access To Plug Well Near River

A Texas appeals court has ruled that an oil company may cross private ranch land to plug a shut-in well. The ruling from the Texas Thirteenth Court of Appeals affirmed a lower court's decision, allowing Allegiant Resources access to the Remora Oil Unit No. 1. This well is located on neighboring property and is situated only 15 to 20 yards from the San Antonio River.
