Chennai Police arrested a 25-year-old transgender woman, S Gunashree, at Perambur railway station with 25,000 narcotic tablets. Acting on a tip about a Mumbai-to-Chennai drug transport, authorities intercepted Gunashree, who allegedly confessed to being a courier paid between Rs 2.50 and Rs 3 per tablet. Police are investigating the network, seeking to identify suppliers and recipients in Chennai. The seized tablets were reportedly sold for Rs 15 to Rs 20 each.

चेन्नई पुलिस ने पेरंबूर रेलवे स्टेशन पर 25 साल की ट्रांसजेंडर महिला एस गुनाश्री को 25,000 नशीली गोलियों के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। मुंबई से चेन्नई ड्रग्स की खेप आने की सूचना पर पुलिस ने गुनाश्री को पकड़ा। उसने कबूल किया कि वह हर गोली के 2.50 से 3 रुपये लेकर यह काम कर रही थी। पुलिस इस नेटवर्क की जांच कर रही है ताकि चेन्नई में सप्लाई करने वालों और खरीदारों का पता लगाया जा सके।
