Every September, Ziro Valley in Arunachal Pradesh transforms its paddy fields into a vibrant four-day music festival, attracting thousands to India's northeast. Founded in 2012 by musicians Bobby Hano and Anup Kutty, the festival features stages built entirely from local bamboo, leaving no permanent structures. It champions independent artists and sustainable practices, banning single-use plastics and offering water refill stations.

हर साल सितंबर में, अरुणाचल प्रदेश की ज़ीरो वैली धान के खेतों को चार दिन के ज़ीरो म्यूज़िक फ़ेस्टिवल में बदल देती है। यह हज़ारों लोगों को भारत के उत्तर-पूर्व में खींच लाता है। 2012 में शुरू हुए इस फ़ेस्टिवल में सब कुछ स्थानीय बांस से बनता है, कोई पक्का ढाँचा नहीं। यह इंडिपेंडेंट कलाकारों को बढ़ावा देता है और सिंगल-यूज़ प्लास्टिक बैन करके टिकाऊपन पर ज़ोर देता है।
