Shiv Sena Corporator Mhatre Surrenders After Bail Cancelled

Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre surrendered to the police after the High Court cancelled his bail. He is set to be produced before a Kalyan court and is likely to be placed in judicial custody. The police have also arrested Sadhana Karande, the fifth accused in the hospital assault case. Karande is the mother of the pregnant woman whose treatment delay led to the incident.

शिवसेना के कॉर्पोरेटर रमेश म्हात्रे ने हाई कोर्ट द्वारा उनकी जमानत रद्द किए जाने के बाद पुलिस के सामने सरेंडर कर दिया है। उन्हें कल्याण कोर्ट में पेश किया जाएगा और न्यायिक हिरासत में भेजे जाने की संभावना है। पुलिस ने अस्पताल में मारपीट के मामले में पांचवीं आरोपी साधना करांडे को भी गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। करांडे उस गर्भवती महिला की मां हैं, जिसके इलाज में देरी के कारण यह घटना हुई थी।
