Elderly Man Mistakenly Declared Dead, Cremated After Train Accident

A shocking case of mistaken identity in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, left two families in distress. Manshalal, 72, left home and was presumed dead after a train accident near the railway crossing. His family identified the body based on appearance and proceeded with the cremation. However, the next day, Manshalal returned home, alive and well. Police investigation revealed the deceased was actually Chandrika Singh, another 72-year-old man with a similar appearance. The families, living in nearby colonies, were unaware of the mix-up until the police intervened.
