He stated that he would be compelled to consider a fast or foot march if the arrests, which he condemned as an "undeclared emergency," were not resolved by tomorrow. Wangchuk urged the government to end the arrests and resolve the underlying issues, expressing hope that he would not be forced to protest. He gave the centre a 24-hour ultimatum to address the situation.
