Malaur village in Bihar's Bhojpur district is gaining fame for its pure khoya barfi, a sweet that has become the identity of the village and its shop owner, Ashok Kumar. Starting with just 2kg of barfi daily in 1982, the business now prepares around 40kg per day, with daily sales reaching approximately ₹15,000. The barfi's popularity and quality led to Ashok Kumar being elected as the village panchayat chief. Plans are underway to sell this renowned barfi at Pirou railway station under the 'One Station One Product' scheme.

बिहार के भोजपुर जिले का मलर गाँव अपने शुद्ध खोया बर्फी के लिए मशहूर हो रहा है, जो गाँव और इसके दुकानदार अशोक कुमार की पहचान बन गई है। 1982 में रोज़ाना सिर्फ 2 किलो बर्फी से शुरुआत करने वाला यह व्यवसाय अब प्रतिदिन लगभग 40 किलो तैयार करता है, जिसकी रोज़ाना बिक्री लगभग ₹15,000 तक पहुँच जाती है। बर्फी की लोकप्रियता और गुणवत्ता के कारण अशोक कुमार को गाँव का मुखिया चुना गया। 'वन स्टेशन वन प्रोडक्ट' योजना के तहत इस प्रसिद्ध बर्फी को पीरो रेलवे स्टेशन पर बेचने की योजना है।
