Cyclone Murasu brought heavy rainfall to Chennai and surrounding districts as it moved towards the Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts. The severe cyclonic storm is expected to make landfall between Nellore and Narsapur early on November 3. In response to the adverse weather, Chennai Airport cancelled at least eleven flights connecting to various cities. Despite widespread rain, officials reported no major incidents or evacuations, with only minor inundations in some parts of North Chennai.
