Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping greeted each other at the BRICS summit in New Delhi. However, they have not engaged in any meaningful conversation so far, according to Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov. Peskov noted that an opportunity for discussion might arise later in the evening during another scheduled event at the summit. The interaction occurred on the sidelines of the international gathering.
