Bengaluru Airport Road Faces 18 Months of Traffic Curbs Starting November 6
Business Standard · automobile
Traffic on Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport road will be impacted for 18 months from November 6 due to the construction of a four-lane elevated corridor. The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) is undertaking the project along Ballari Road, a key arterial highway connecting the city centre to the airport. Commuters heading towards the airport must use designated alternative routes as goods vehicles and buses are prohibited on Ballari Road during this period. The Bengaluru Traffic Police have issued advisories detailing these diversions to manage anticipated congestion.
