Vice-President Urges Young Doctors to Uphold Service and Compassion

Vice-President CP Radhakrishnan urged young doctors at AIIMS Deoghar's convocation to serve with honesty, dedication, and compassion. He emphasized that medical degrees mark the start of a lifelong commitment to service, requiring sensitivity towards patients. The Vice-President also highlighted the role of AI in healthcare and its importance in India's vision for a developed nation by 2047. He noted the expansion of medical education, with the number of medical colleges and seats significantly increasing, making quality healthcare more accessible in smaller towns.

उपराष्ट्रपति सीपी राधाकृष्णन ने एम्स देवघर के दीक्षांत समारोह में युवा डॉक्टरों से ईमानदारी, समर्पण और करुणा के साथ सेवा करने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि मेडिकल डिग्री सेवा के प्रति आजीवन प्रतिबद्धता की शुरुआत है, जिसके लिए मरीजों के प्रति संवेदनशीलता की आवश्यकता होती है। उपराष्ट्रपति ने स्वास्थ्य सेवा में AI की भूमिका और 2047 तक एक विकसित राष्ट्र के लिए भारत की दृष्टि में इसके महत्व पर भी प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने चिकित्सा शिक्षा के विस्तार को नोट किया, जिसमें मेडिकल कॉलेजों और सीटों की संख्या में काफी वृद्धि हुई है, जिससे छोटे शहरों में गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवा अधिक सुलभ हो गई है।
