Dona Ganguly Presents Odissi Dance Tribute To Goddess Durga

Odissi dancer Dona Ganguly choreographed and presented 'Rupam Dehi, Jayam Dehi' at the Indian Museum on October 12. The performance, part of the Devi Durga festival, celebrated divine feminine power and the triumph of good over evil. It featured songs and hymns honouring Goddess Durga and included compositions from the legendary radio programme Mahishasuramardini. Dona Ganguly portrayed Goddess Durga, while Raghunath Das played Mahishasura. The event marked the beginning of the festive season with a tribute to the Goddess.
