A devastating flash flood has swept through part of Nepal's Rasuwa district, near the Tibet border, killing at least 17 people. The torrent of water is feared to have washed away entire villages in the area, which lies north of the capital city, Kathmandu. Rescue efforts are underway as authorities assess the full extent of the damage and the number of missing persons.
