Prithvi Theatre Festival Opens 5th Decade with Electrifying Jazz Performance

The Prithvi Theatre Festival commenced its fifth decade on Sunday with a vibrant jazz performance titled 'Legacy of Louis Banks'. Led by drummer Gino Banks, the ensemble delivered a captivating musical experience blending jazz rhythms with Indian classical vocalizations. The festival, a long-standing fixture in Mumbai's cultural calendar, will continue until November 16. Trustee Kunal Kapoor highlighted the enduring legacy and the collective effort in sustaining the annual event. The opening night also saw a significant presence of Bollywood personalities and theatre figures.

रविवार को पृथ्वी थिएटर फेस्टिवल ने 'लेगेसी ऑफ लुईस बैंक्स' नाम के एक ज़बरदस्त जैज़ परफॉरमेंस के साथ अपने पांचवें दशक की शुरुआत की। ड्रमर Gino Banks के नेतृत्व वाले समूह ने जैज़ की ताल और भारतीय शास्त्रीय गायन को मिलाकर एक यादगार संगीत का अनुभव दिया। मुंबई के सांस्कृतिक कैलेंडर का एक अहम हिस्सा रहा यह फेस्टिवल 16 नवंबर तक चलेगा। ट्रस्टी Kunal Kapoor ने इस सालाना आयोजन को बनाए रखने में इसके लंबे इतिहास और सामूहिक प्रयासों पर ज़ोर दिया। उद्घाटन की शाम को कई बॉलीवुड हस्तियों और थिएटर से जुड़े लोगों ने भी शिरकत की।
