TVS Motor Company's board has approved the demerger of its consumer finance and related business into a new holding company, Harita ARC Ltd. The move aims to create strategic autonomy for both the mobility and consumer finance sectors, allowing them to pursue growth opportunities independently. Shareholders will receive an equal number of shares in the new entity, enabling participation in both businesses. The consumer finance arm reported a turnover of Rs 3,921 crore in the first six months of the financial year. This restructuring is subject to regulatory approvals.

TVS Motor Company के बोर्ड ने अपने कंज्यूमर फाइनेंस और संबंधित बिजनेस को एक नई होल्डिंग कंपनी, Harita ARC Ltd. में डीमर्ज करने की मंजूरी दे दी है। इस कदम का मकसद मोबिलिटी और कंज्यूमर फाइनेंस दोनों क्षेत्रों को रणनीतिक स्वायत्तता देना है, जिससे वे स्वतंत्र रूप से विकास के अवसरों का लाभ उठा सकें। शेयरधारकों को नई इकाई में समान संख्या में शेयर मिलेंगे, जिससे वे दोनों व्यवसायों में भाग ले सकेंगे। कंज्यूमर फाइनेंस आर्म ने वित्तीय वर्ष की पहली छह महीनों में 3,921 करोड़ रुपये का टर्नओवर दर्ज किया। यह पुनर्गठन नियामक मंजूरियों के अधीन है।
