केरल सरकार ने अगस्त 2021 में लागू किए गए टूरिस्ट बसों के लिए यूनिफाइड कलर कोड की समीक्षा का आदेश दिया है। यह फैसला ऑल इंडिया टूरिस्ट व्हीकल्स (परमिट) रूल्स, 2023 की शुरुआत और पर्यटन क्षेत्र की चिंताओं के बाद आया है। पहले के आदेश में टूरिस्ट बसों को सफेद रंग का होना ज़रूरी था, लेकिन यह राज्य के पर्यटन परिवहन क्षेत्र को प्रभावित कर रहा था, क्योंकि ऑल इंडिया परमिट वाले राज्य के बाहर के वाहन ऐसी किसी पाबंदी के बिना चल रहे थे। इस समीक्षा का मकसद केंद्रीय नियमों का पालन सुनिश्चित करना और सड़क सुरक्षा के निर्देशों को बनाए रखना है।
