Uttarakhand Rescue: 136 Trekkers Rescued From Mountains

In Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi, 136 trekkers from 10 different groups were stranded due to heavy rain, landslides, and snowfall. Five helicopters have been deployed to aid in their rescue. Joint teams from the district administration, forest department, SDRF, and police are working on a war footing to evacuate trekkers and porters from high-altitude areas. Efforts are underway to ensure the safe return of trekkers from both India and abroad, with arrangements for their accommodation, food, and medical aid being made.

उत्तराखंड के उत्तरकाशी में भारी बारिश, भूस्खलन और बर्फबारी के कारण 10 अलग-अलग समूहों के 136 ट्रैकर्स फंसे हुए थे। उन्हें बचाने के लिए पांच हेलीकॉप्टर तैनात किए गए हैं। जिला प्रशासन, वन विभाग, SDRF और पुलिस की संयुक्त टीमों द्वारा ऊंचे पहाड़ी इलाकों से ट्रैकर्स और पोर्टर्स को निकालने के लिए युद्ध स्तर पर काम किया जा रहा है। भारत और विदेश से आए ट्रैकर्स की सुरक्षित वापसी सुनिश्चित करने के प्रयास जारी हैं, और उनके रहने, खाने और चिकित्सा सहायता की व्यवस्था की जा रही है।
