The Election Commission of India (ECI) is conducting a special drive until October 9 to register young and first-time eligible voters. This initiative focuses on Tamil Nadu and other states where electoral roll revisions are complete. Special camps will be held, with a particular emphasis on urban areas and larger cities to boost registration among young citizens. Electoral Literacy Clubs in schools and colleges will be utilized to raise awareness and facilitate the enrolment process.
