Earthquake Shakes Indian Athletes Training For Asian Games

Indian athletes training in Tsukuba City for the upcoming Asian Games were startled awake by a tremor on Wednesday night. Several members of the athletics contingent rushed out of their hotel rooms as their beds shook vigorously for approximately 30 to 60 seconds. While there was no reported damage, the earthquake registered a magnitude of 5.0 on the Mw scale.
