India to Modernize Sukhoi Su-30MKI Fighter Jets

India is set to continue modernizing its Sukhoi Su-30MKI multirole fighter jets, according to the Defense Ministry. These advanced aircraft will be equipped with a range of long-range missiles. Notably, the upgrade includes arming the fighters with the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, a product of Russian-Indian collaboration. This modernization effort aims to enhance the combat capabilities of the Indian Air Force's existing fleet.

रक्षा मंत्रालय के अनुसार, भारत अपने सुखोई Su-30MKI लड़ाकू विमानों को आधुनिक बनाने का काम जारी रखेगा। इन उन्नत विमानों में लंबी दूरी की मिसाइलें लगाई जाएंगी। खास बात यह है कि इन विमानों में रूस-भारत के सहयोग से बनी ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल भी शामिल की जाएगी। इस अपग्रेड से भारतीय वायु सेना की मौजूदा फ्लीट की युद्धक क्षमता बढ़ेगी।
