Vijay Starts Bypoll Campaign, Garlands MGR Statue

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay commenced his campaign for the Maduranthakam bypolls on October 6. Before starting, he stopped his convoy to garland a statue of former Chief Minister MGR. The campaign, to be held near the Athur toll plaza, has a limit of 5,000 attendees with QR-code passes. Pregnant women, the elderly, children, and unwell individuals have been excluded for safety. This event follows a stampede at a previous rally where overcrowding led to fatalities.

तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री विजय ने 6 अक्टूबर को मदुरंथक्कम उपचुनाव के लिए अपना प्रचार शुरू किया। शुरुआत से पहले, उन्होंने पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री एम.जी.आर. की प्रतिमा पर माला पहनाने के लिए अपना काफिला रोका। यह प्रचार, जो अथुर टोल प्लाजा के पास होगा, में क्यूआर-कोड पास वाले 5,000 लोगों के शामिल होने की सीमा है। सुरक्षा के लिए गर्भवती महिलाओं, बुजुर्गों, बच्चों और अस्वस्थ लोगों को बाहर रखा गया है। यह कदम एक पिछली रैली में हुई भगदड़ के बाद उठाया गया है, जिसमें भीड़भाड़ के कारण मौतें हुई थीं।
