Delhi on High Alert: Metro Stations Closed, Trains Cancelled Ahead of Protest

Delhi is under strict security measures ahead of a planned protest, with 57 metro stations closed and 75 trains cancelled. Internet services will be temporarily suspended in some areas, and two Namo Bharat stations, liquor shops, and Bhagirath Palace market will also be shut. The Indian Civil Defence Code's Section 163, replacing Section 144 of CrPC, has been enforced in Central Delhi to prevent unlawful gatherings and maintain public order. Approximately 23,000 security personnel are deployed across the city to manage the situation.
