This event signifies the launch of the Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation's 18th consecutive 'Paint the City Pink' campaign. The initiative, which began in 2009, has consistently illuminated the city's iconic structures annually, even through the COVID-19 pandemic. Hyderabad holds the unique distinction of being the only city globally to achieve this sustained, synchronized illumination for 18 years.
