V O Chidambaranar Port has experienced a significant increase in wind turbine blade handling, with 2,188 blades processed between April and August 2026, a 74.5% rise compared to the previous fiscal year. The number of vessels carrying these components also grew from 39 to 52, highlighting increased clean-energy component movement. The port has extensive storage facilities and can handle blades up to 90.2 meters long. This growth reflects India's clean-energy transition and the port's expanding role as a logistics hub for renewable energy cargo.

वी ओ चिदंबरनार पोर्ट पर विंड टरबाइन ब्लेड की हैंडलिंग में ज़बरदस्त बढ़ोतरी देखी गई है। अप्रैल से अगस्त 2026 के बीच 2,188 ब्लेड प्रोसेस किए गए, जो पिछले वित्तीय वर्ष की तुलना में 74.5% ज़्यादा है। इन कंपोनेंट्स को ले जाने वाले जहाजों की संख्या भी 39 से बढ़कर 52 हो गई, जो क्लीन-एनर्जी कंपोनेंट्स की बढ़ती आवाजाही को दर्शाता है। पोर्ट में बड़े स्टोरेज की सुविधा है और यह 90.2 मीटर तक लंबे ब्लेड को हैंडल कर सकता है। यह बढ़ोतरी भारत के क्लीन-एनर्जी ट्रांज़िशन और रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी कार्गो के लिए पोर्ट की बढ़ती भूमिका को दिखाती है।
