Man Kills Live-in Partner, Dumps Body in Crocodile-Infested River

Police in Madhya Pradesh suspect a man, Satyaprakash, murdered his live-in partner, Snehlata, by strangling her and throwing her body into the crocodile-infested Pachnada river in Uttar Pradesh. He allegedly confessed to the crime, stating he believed crocodiles would consume her remains, making recovery difficult. The couple had a 10-month-old child, and disputes reportedly escalated over the child and Snehlata's demand for marriage recognition. Satyaprakash had lured Snehlata away with a shopping promise before her disappearance.

मध्य प्रदेश पुलिस को शक है कि सत्यप्रकाश नाम के एक आदमी ने अपनी लिव-इन पार्टनर स्नेहलटा की गला घोंटकर हत्या कर दी और उसके शव को उत्तर प्रदेश की मगरमच्छों से भरी पचनदा नदी में फेंक दिया। उसने कथित तौर पर अपराध कबूल किया है, यह कहते हुए कि उसे विश्वास था कि मगरमच्छ उसके अवशेषों को खा जाएंगे, जिससे शव को ढूंढना मुश्किल हो जाएगा। जोड़े का 10 महीने का बच्चा था, और कथित तौर पर बच्चे को लेकर विवाद बढ़ गए थे और स्नेहलटा ने शादी की मान्यता की मांग की थी। सत्यप्रकाश ने स्नेहलटा को उसके लापता होने से पहले खरीदारी का वादा करके बहकाया था।
