Railway Minister Inspects India's First Bullet Train Manufacturing At BEML Facility

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inspected the manufacturing of India's first bullet train at BEML's Bengaluru facility, expressing satisfaction with the excellent progress. He noted that all major components are being manufactured, integrated, and tested according to international quality standards. The minister also flagged off the new Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper train. Additionally, a proposal for a high-speed rail corridor connecting Bengaluru and Pune via Hubballi was discussed and agreed to be considered positively.

रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने BEML की बेंगलुरु फैसिलिटी में भारत की पहली बुलेट ट्रेन के निर्माण का निरीक्षण किया और बेहतरीन प्रगति पर संतोष जताया। उन्होंने कहा कि सभी प्रमुख पुर्जे अंतरराष्ट्रीय गुणवत्ता मानकों के अनुसार बनाए, एकीकृत और परीक्षण किए जा रहे हैं। मंत्री ने नई बेंगलुरु-मुंबई वंदे भारत स्लीपर ट्रेन को हरी झंडी भी दिखाई। इसके अलावा, हुबली के रास्ते बेंगलुरु और पुणे को जोड़ने वाले हाई-स्पीड रेल कॉरिडोर के प्रस्ताव पर चर्चा की गई और सकारात्मक रूप से विचार करने पर सहमति बनी।
