Delhi Parks To Get 4.67 Lakh Tulips; MCD Gardens Miss Out Again

NDMC and Delhi Development Authority (DDA) parks will soon feature 4.67 lakh blooming tulips imported from the Netherlands. The NDMC will use 300,000 bulbs, while the DDA will receive 167,000 bulbs for planting in public spaces. This marks the second consecutive year that Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) gardens will not have tulips due to past damage by miscreants. The NDMC has been importing bulbs since 2017 and has developed a process for storing and reusing bulbs.
