A curative petition has been filed in the Supreme Court demanding the withdrawal of a split verdict concerning the appointment of election commissioners. The petitioner argued that Justice S.A. Sharma should not have heard the case, citing his son's role as standing counsel for the Election Commission. While Justice Dipankar Datta dismissed a plea to send the matter to a larger bench, Justice Sharma supported it, leading to the case being presented to CJI Surykant.

चुनाव आयुक्तों की नियुक्ति से जुड़े एक विभाजित फैसले को वापस लेने की मांग करते हुए Supreme Court में एक क्यूरेटिव पिटीशन दायर की गई है। याचिकाकर्ता ने तर्क दिया कि Justice S.A.
