Bhubaneswar Hosts Urban Mobility Conference Focusing On Tech-Driven Solutions

Union minister Tokhan Sahu inaugurated the 19th Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference in Bhubaneswar, the first time the city is hosting the annual event. The conference focuses on sustainable public transport, integration, and reducing congestion, with a theme of 'Urban Accessibility and Liveability in Digital Age'. Around 1,500 delegates are attending discussions on leveraging technology for better urban transport and quality of life. The minister highlighted India's expansion of metro rail networks and initiatives like the National Common Mobility Card.

भुवनेश्वर में शहरी गतिशीलता सम्मेलन का आयोजन तकनीक-संचालित समाधानों पर ध्यान केंद्रित

केंद्रीय मंत्री श्री तोखन साहू ने भुवनेश्वर में 19वीं शहरी गतिशीलता भारत (UMI) सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन किया, यह पहली बार है जब शहर इस वार्षिक कार्यक्रम की मेजबानी कर रहा है। सम्मेलन का ध्यान टिकाऊ सार्वजनिक परिवहन, एकीकरण और भीड़भाड़ को कम करने पर है, जिसका विषय 'डिजिटल युग में शहरी पहुंच और जीवन की गुणवत्ता' है। लगभग 1,500 प्रतिनिधि बेहतर शहरी परिवहन और जीवन की गुणवत्ता के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी का लाभ उठाने पर चर्चा में भाग ले रहे हैं। मंत्री ने भारत के मेट्रो रेल नेटवर्क के विस्तार और नेशनल कॉमन मोबिलिटी कार्ड जैसी पहलों पर प्रकाश डाला।
