Apoorva Shrivastava, 30, left a demanding Mumbai job and her own digital marketing agency to move to Kasol. She cited a toxic work environment, discrimination, and a toll on her mental well-being as reasons for her departure. After her agency faced challenges with client payments and business management, she decided to step away from corporate pressures. Now living in Kasol, she volunteers at a hostel and pursues content creation, trusting herself without a rigid five-year plan.

30 साल की अपूर्वा श्रीवास्तव ने मुंबई की एक मुश्किल नौकरी और अपनी डिजिटल मार्केटिंग एजेंसी को छोड़कर कसोल जाने का फैसला किया। उन्होंने बताया कि काम का माहौल ज़हरीला था, भेदभाव होता था और इसका उनकी मानसिक सेहत पर बुरा असर पड़ रहा था। क्लाइंट से पेमेंट और बिज़नेस चलाने में दिक्कतें आने के बाद उन्होंने कॉर्पोरेट दबाव से दूर जाने का मन बनाया। अब वह कसोल में एक हॉस्टल में वॉलंटियर करती हैं और कंटेंट क्रिएशन करती हैं, बिना किसी पक्के पांच साल के प्लान के खुद पर भरोसा करते हुए।
