Delhi's Central Park Shut Ahead of Protest; Court Allows Demonstration

New Delhi Municipal Council has announced the closure of Central Park in Connaught Place on October 16 and 17, citing administrative reasons. This decision follows the Delhi High Court's refusal to restrain the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and Dipke from holding their 'Lehra do Tiranga' march. The court accepted the Delhi Police's assurance to manage the protest lawfully. The march aims to protest the arrest of CJP leaders, who were taken into custody for allegedly trespassing at Jantar Mantar and waving the national flag.
