Students Detained in Lucknow During March Supporting Jantar Mantar Protest

Police in Lucknow detained members of various student bodies on Sunday as they marched to support a protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar concerning alleged "vote theft." Demonstrators carried black balloons and used spray paint during their march from Parivartan Chowk towards the Vidhan Sabha. Protesters were stopped near KD Singh Babu Stadium and transported to Eco Garden. Student leaders stated the agitation would continue until the chief election commissioner resigns, emphasizing students' responsibility to voice concerns about democracy and voting rights.

रविवार को लखनऊ में पुलिस ने दिल्ली के जंतर मंतर पर कथित 'वोट चोरी' को लेकर हो रहे विरोध प्रदर्शन के समर्थन में मार्च कर रहे विभिन्न छात्र संगठनों के सदस्यों को हिरासत में लिया। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने परिवर्तन चौक से विधानसभा की ओर मार्च के दौरान काले गुब्बारे ले जाए और स्प्रे पेंट का इस्तेमाल किया। प्रदर्शनकारियों को केडी सिंह बाबू स्टेडियम के पास रोका गया और इको गार्डन ले जाया गया। छात्र नेताओं ने कहा कि जब तक मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त इस्तीफा नहीं देते, तब तक आंदोलन जारी रहेगा, और उन्होंने लोकतंत्र और मतदान के अधिकारों के बारे में चिंता व्यक्त करने के लिए छात्रों की जिम्मेदारी पर जोर दिया।
