Man Arrested in Golf Course Road Road-Rage Incident; FIR Delay Prompts Inquiry

A 32-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly abusing a mother-daughter duo and damaging their car's headlight during a road-rage incident on Golf Course Road on August 27. The suspect, who was undergoing treatment for dengue, was discharged and taken into custody. The incident involved a minor collision between the victims' Maruti Swift and the suspect's Mahindra Scorpio. Police have also ordered a departmental inquiry into the nearly month-long delay in registering the FIR, following intervention after the victims met with the Assistant Commissioner of Police.

गोल्फ कोर्स रोड पर 27 अगस्त को हुई रोड-रेज की घटना में एक 32 वर्षीय व्यक्ति को कथित तौर पर एक माँ-बेटी की जोड़ी को गाली देने और उनकी कार की हेडलाइट तोड़ने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। संदिग्ध, जो डेंगू का इलाज करा रहा था, को छुट्टी दे दी गई और हिरासत में ले लिया गया। इस घटना में पीड़ितों की Maruti Swift और संदिग्ध की Mahindra Scorpio के बीच मामूली टक्कर हुई थी। पुलिस ने पीड़ितों के सहायक पुलिस आयुक्त से मिलने के बाद लगभग एक महीने की FIR दर्ज करने में देरी की विभागीय जांच के भी आदेश दिए हैं।
