A man from Myanmar has been charged in Singapore for allegedly posting an AI-generated image of a crocodile in a popular reservoir. Ye Lin is accused of communicating a false message and obstructing justice by deleting the image and the application used to create it. The fake image caused public concern, leading the national water agency to suspend operations at Pandan Reservoir for two days. The authorities confirmed the image was fake the following day and reported it to the police.
