Gujarat Forest Teams Hunt Lion After Attack

A large search operation is underway in Gujarat's Amreli district for a lion that attacked forest officials. Eleven teams have been deployed to scour a 10-kilometer area, utilizing modern technology. The lion attacked a forest officer and a tracker during a rescue attempt for a sick animal in Navi Barpatoli village. Both injured officials were taken to Bhavnagar for treatment. The lion, believed to be over nine years old, fled after the attack, complicating efforts due to dense crops and bushes in the region.

गुजरात के अमरेली जिले में वन अधिकारियों पर हमला करने वाले शेर को पकड़ने के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर तलाशी अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। 10 किलोमीटर के इलाके में गश्त करने के लिए ग्यारह टीमों को तैनात किया गया है, जो आधुनिक तकनीक का इस्तेमाल कर रही हैं। नवी बारपतोली गांव में एक बीमार जानवर को बचाने की कोशिश के दौरान शेर ने एक वन अधिकारी और एक ट्रैकर पर हमला किया था। दोनों घायल अधिकारियों को इलाज के लिए भावनगर ले जाया गया। नौ साल से अधिक उम्र का माना जा रहा शेर हमले के बाद भाग गया, जिससे इलाके में घनी फसलों और झाड़ियों के कारण प्रयासों में बाधा आ रही है।
