मंगलुरु पुलिस कमिश्नर सुधीर कुमार रेड्डी की पहल रंग लाई है। पहले 98 में से 38 छात्र ड्रग्स टेस्ट में पॉजिटिव पाए गए थे, लेकिन अब वे नेगेटिव निकले हैं। इस कैंपेन में ड्रग्स टेस्टिंग, काउंसलिंग, पेरेंट्स की भागीदारी और कॉलेज की निगरानी शामिल थी। यह तरीका ड्रग्स को सिर्फ सजा का नहीं, बल्कि मदद की ज़रूरत वाली समस्या मानता है। इससे पता चलता है कि जल्दी पहचान और मदद से युवा नशे की लत से बाहर निकल सकते हैं।
