American singer Mary Millben has alleged that the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) is receiving funding from US donors who oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Millben urged young Indian patriots to rise and peacefully protest what she described as the outfit's "disruptive spirit." She stated that these donors globally target conservative leaders, radicalize individuals, and fund them to create chaos. Millben, popular in India for her renditions of the national anthem, emphasized the need for a counter-movement to uphold democracy and freedom.
