Akhilesh Yadav Accuses EC, Bureaucracy of Working For BJP

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has accused the Election Commission and bureaucracy of acting at the behest of the BJP. He claimed that many voters have multiple entries in the electoral rolls, with some individuals listed up to 10 times. Yadav alleged that constitutional institutions are being manipulated to suit the ruling party's agenda and that the country's democracy is under threat. He further stated that a fresh voter registration drive is discarding a previous revision process that cost crores.

समाजवादी पार्टी के मुखिया अखिलेश यादव ने चुनाव आयोग और नौकरशाही पर बीजेपी के इशारे पर काम करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि कई मतदाताओं के नाम मतदाता सूची में कई बार दर्ज हैं, कुछ लोगों के नाम तो 10 बार तक सूचीबद्ध हैं। यादव ने आरोप लगाया कि सत्ताधारी पार्टी के एजेंडे के हिसाब से संवैधानिक संस्थाओं में हेरफेर किया जा रहा है और देश की लोकतंत्र खतरे में है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि एक नए मतदाता पंजीकरण अभियान से करोड़ों की लागत वाली पिछली संशोधन प्रक्रिया को रद्द किया जा रहा है।
