DMK MP seeks action against Tamil Nadu CM

A DMK Rajya Sabha member has petitioned the Election Commission seeking action against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay and TVK leader Aadhav Arjuna. The complaint alleges violations of the model code of conduct and a Madras High Court order. The DMK MP accused Vijay of making remarks about a sensitive POCSO case during his campaign, disregarding court directions. The petition also claims the ruling party is distributing money and using schoolchildren in campaigns, urging the EC to ensure a fair bypoll.

एक डीएमके राज्यसभा सदस्य ने तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री सी जोसेफ विजय और टीवीके नेता आदव अर्जुन के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग करते हुए चुनाव आयोग को एक याचिका दी है। शिकायत में मॉडल आचार संहिता और मद्रास हाई कोर्ट के एक आदेश के उल्लंघन का आरोप लगाया गया है। डीएमके सांसद ने विजय पर अदालत के निर्देशों की अवहेलना करते हुए एक संवेदनशील POCSO मामले के बारे में अपने अभियान के दौरान टिप्पणी करने का आरोप लगाया। याचिका में यह भी दावा किया गया है कि सत्तारूढ़ दल पैसे बांट रहा है और स्कूली बच्चों को अभियानों में इस्तेमाल कर रहा है, और ईसी से निष्पक्ष उपचुनाव सुनिश्चित करने का आग्रह किया है।
