Bombay HC Grants Actor Imran Khan Interim Relief After Unconditional Apology

The Bombay High Court has continued interim relief for actor Imran Khan against a 'Leave India' notice issued by the Centre. Khan, a US citizen and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), submitted an unconditional apology and an undertaking as sought by the court. The Foreigner Registration Regional Officer had initially ordered Khan to leave India within two weeks following an FIR for unlawful assembly.

बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार द्वारा जारी 'लीव इंडिया' नोटिस के खिलाफ अभिनेता इमरान खान को अंतरिम राहत जारी रखी है। खान, जो एक अमेरिकी नागरिक और ओवरसीज सिटीजन ऑफ इंडिया (OCI) हैं, ने अदालत द्वारा मांगे जाने पर बिना शर्त माफी और एक उपक्रम प्रस्तुत किया। फॉरेनर रजिस्ट्रेशन रीजनल ऑफिसर ने शुरू में गैरकानूनी सभा के लिए FIR के बाद खान को दो सप्ताह के भीतर भारत छोड़ने का आदेश दिया था।
