Fire Guts Two Textile Shops in Nedumangad

A major fire broke out at Kulavikonam in Nedumangad on Monday evening, completely gutting two textile shops and damaging two other commercial establishments. The blaze started around 6:30 PM at Roja Textiles and quickly spread to neighbouring shops, including Cocktail textile shop, a jewellery shop, and a mobile phone shop. Staff managed to escape safely, and no casualties were reported. Firefighters successfully prevented the fire from spreading further, though the exact cause and extent of damage are yet to be assessed.

सोमवार शाम को नेडुमंगड के कुलाविकोनाम में भीषण आग लग गई, जिससे दो कपड़ा दुकानें पूरी तरह जल गईं और दो अन्य व्यावसायिक प्रतिष्ठान क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए। आग शाम करीब 6:30 बजे रोजा टेक्सटाइल्स में लगी और तुरंत पड़ोस की दुकानों, जिनमें कॉकटेल टेक्सटाइल शॉप, एक ज्वैलरी शॉप और एक मोबाइल फोन शॉप शामिल थीं, में फैल गई। कर्मचारी सुरक्षित बच निकले और किसी के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है। दमकलकर्मियों ने आग को और फैलने से सफलतापूर्वक रोक लिया, हालांकि आग लगने का सटीक कारण और नुकसान का पूरा अंदाजा अभी लगाया जाना बाकी है।
