A transgender woman who gained UK asylum by claiming persecution for her sexuality has been arrested on suspicion of fraud and immigration offenses. Sajjad Miah, 42, who founded the organisation Apanjon to support LGBT people from Bangladesh, allegedly charged asylum seekers up to 4,500 Pounds to fabricate claims of being gay.
