DND-Sohna Expressway Opens Soon, Cutting Travel Time to 45 Minutes

The DND-Sohna Expressway, connecting Delhi's Sarai Kale Khan to Palwal and Sohna, is nearing completion and is expected to significantly reduce travel time. During trials, the journey from Sarai Kale Khan to Sohna and Palwal was reduced from three hours to just 40-45 minutes during peak hours. This 59-kilometer corridor will link Delhi to key Haryana locations like Faridabad, Sohna, and Palwal, eventually connecting to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway network. The project aims to ease traffic congestion on existing routes and reduce travel time and fuel consumption for commuters.

दिल्ली के सराय काले खां को पलवल और सोहना से जोड़ने वाला डीएनडी-सोहना एक्सप्रेसवे लगभग बनकर तैयार है और इससे यात्रा का समय काफी कम होने की उम्मीद है। ट्रायल के दौरान, सराय काले खां से सोहना और पलवल तक की यात्रा व्यस्त समय में तीन घंटे से घटकर सिर्फ 40-45 मिनट रह गई। यह 59 किलोमीटर लंबा कॉरिडोर दिल्ली को फरीदाबाद, सोहना और पलवल जैसे हरियाणा के प्रमुख स्थानों से जोड़ेगा, और अंततः दिल्ली-मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे नेटवर्क से भी जुड़ेगा। इस प्रोजेक्ट का मकसद मौजूदा रास्तों पर ट्रैफिक जाम को कम करना और यात्रियों के लिए यात्रा का समय और ईंधन की खपत को घटाना है।
