Kerala Leader Pinarayi Vijayan Summoned By ED In Monthly Payoff Case

ED has summoned Kerala's Leader of the Opposition, Pinarayi Vijayan, to appear for questioning in Kochi regarding a monthly payoff case. This summons follows Vijayan's appeal to the Supreme Court against a Kerala High Court order for an FIR registration. The ED's action is linked to two enforcement case information reports registered against Vijayan and former minister P A Mohamed Riyas. The investigation involves alleged payments by Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd (CMRL) to Vijayan's daughter's company, Exalogic Solutions, without corresponding services.
