Youtuber Dhruv Rathee Faces Defamation Case, Court Issues Warrant

A Delhi court has issued a bailable warrant against YouTuber Dhruv Rathee in a defamation case filed by Vikas Pandey. Pandey alleges Rathee defamed him in a video uploaded to his YouTube channel. The court noted that the complainant had been trying to serve summons for years. Rathee, who reportedly resides in Austria, was in Delhi for protests against the 'Cockroach Janata Party'. The court has scheduled the next hearing for October 31.

दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने विकास पांडे द्वारा दायर मानहानि मामले में यूट्यूबर ध्रुव राठी के खिलाफ जमानती वारंट जारी किया है। पांडे का आरोप है कि राठी ने अपने यूट्यूब चैनल पर अपलोड किए गए एक वीडियो में उन्हें बदनाम किया। अदालत ने कहा कि शिकायतकर्ता सालों से समन तामील कराने की कोशिश कर रहा था। ऑस्ट्रिया में रहने वाले राठी कथित तौर पर 'कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी' के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन के लिए दिल्ली में थे। अदालत ने अगली सुनवाई 31 अक्टूबर को तय की है।
