Delhi's Winter Pollution Plan: WFH, No PUC, No Fuel Rules Enforced

Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced a Winter Action Plan to combat air pollution, effective from November 1 to February 28. Measures include doubling parking charges at authorized sites and a 50% work-from-home mandate for government and private offices. Vehicles registered outside Delhi without BS-VI compliance will be barred from November 1 to January 31. The 'No PUC, No Fuel' rule, already in effect, will continue, preventing fuel dispensing to vehicles without a valid Pollution Under Control certificate.

दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने वायु प्रदूषण से निपटने के लिए विंटर एक्शन प्लान की घोषणा की है, जो 1 नवंबर से 28 फरवरी तक प्रभावी रहेगा। उपायों में अधिकृत स्थलों पर पार्किंग शुल्क दोगुना करना और सरकारी व निजी कार्यालयों के लिए 50% वर्क-फ्रॉम-होम का आदेश शामिल है। 1 नवंबर से 31 जनवरी तक दिल्ली के बाहर पंजीकृत और BS-VI अनुपालन न करने वाले वाहनों को प्रतिबंधित किया जाएगा। 'नो पीयूसी, नो फ्यूल' नियम, जो पहले से लागू है, जारी रहेगा, जिससे वैध पॉल्यूशन अंडर कंट्रोल (PUC) प्रमाणपत्र के बिना वाहनों में ईंधन भरने से रोका जाएगा।
