AIADMK Functionary Arrested in Rs 15 Crore Bribe Offer Case

Madurai police have arrested AIADMK functionary P M Mannan in connection with an alleged offer of Rs 15 crore to a TVK MLA. The MLA, VMS Mustafa, claimed he was offered the money to vote against the government during a no-confidence motion. Mustafa stated he possesses audio recordings of the purported conversations. Following a complaint by the MLA, the Madurai City Central Crime Branch registered a case and initiated an investigation.

मदुरै पुलिस ने एआईएडीएमके पदाधिकारी पी एम मन्नान को टीवीके एमएलए को कथित तौर पर 15 करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत देने की पेशकश के संबंध में गिरफ्तार किया है। एमएलए वीएमएस मुस्तफा ने दावा किया कि उन्हें अविश्वास प्रस्ताव के दौरान सरकार के खिलाफ वोट देने के लिए पैसे की पेशकश की गई थी। मुस्तफा ने कहा कि उनके पास कथित बातचीत की ऑडियो रिकॉर्डिंग है। एमएलए की शिकायत के बाद, मदुरै सिटी सेंट्रल क्राइम ब्रांच ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।
