Indian Badminton Players Shine at BWF World Junior Championships

Several Indian U-19 badminton players have advanced to the round of 16 at the BWF World Junior Championships 2026. Tanvi Patri, Nishchal Chand, and Jagsher Singh Khangurra secured victories in their respective singles matches. While most Indian players progressed, Akhil Reddy Bobba was the sole singles player to be eliminated. The doubles events saw mixed results, with some pairs advancing and others being knocked out. The mixed doubles team also faced an early exit in the round of 64.

BWF World Junior Championships 2026 में कई भारतीय U-19 बैडमिंटन खिलाड़ियों ने राउंड ऑफ 16 में जगह बनाई है। तन्वी पात्री, निश्छल चंद और जगशेर सिंह खुंगुरा ने अपने-अपने सिंगल्स मैचों में जीत हासिल की। ज्यादातर भारतीय खिलाड़ी आगे बढ़े, लेकिन अखिल रेड्डी बोब्बा सिंगल्स में बाहर होने वाले एकमात्र खिलाड़ी रहे। डबल्स इवेंट्स में मिले-जुले नतीजे आए, कुछ जोड़ियां आगे बढ़ीं और कुछ बाहर हो गईं। मिक्स्ड डबल्स टीम को राउंड ऑफ 64 में ही बाहर का रास्ता देखना पड़ा।
