Kerala Government to Launch 'Happiness Department' Named 'Anandham'

The Kerala government is planning to establish a 'Happiness Department' named 'Anandham', inspired by Bhutan's Gross National Happiness index. This new department will operate under the Local Self Government portfolio and aims to spread happiness and promote well-being among citizens. Minister K.M. Shaji stated that the department will assess the impact of welfare and development schemes on people's happiness. It will also focus on fostering well-being through developmental initiatives and creating spaces for community interaction.

केरल सरकार 'आनंदम' नाम से शुरू करेगी 'खुशी विभाग'

केरल सरकार भूटान के ग्रॉस नेशनल हैप्पीनेस इंडेक्स से प्रेरित होकर 'आनंदम' नाम से एक 'खुशी विभाग' स्थापित करने की योजना बना रही है। यह नया विभाग स्थानीय स्वशासन पोर्टफोलियो के तहत काम करेगा और इसका उद्देश्य नागरिकों के बीच खुशी फैलाना और कल्याण को बढ़ावा देना है। मंत्री के.एम. शाजी ने कहा कि यह विभाग लोगों की खुशी पर कल्याण और विकास योजनाओं के प्रभाव का आकलन करेगा। यह विकास पहलों के माध्यम से कल्याण को बढ़ावा देने और सामुदायिक संपर्क के लिए स्थान बनाने पर भी ध्यान केंद्रित करेगा।
