Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has stated that the tech sector should have zero tolerance for cybersecurity incidents caused by AI agents. This position directly contrasts with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's view that occasional cyber breaches may be an acceptable tradeoff for AI's societal benefits. Huang emphasized that all reported breaches could have been prevented with stricter oversight and better sandboxing, comparing the necessary isolation to early internet browser security. He also dismissed existential AI doomerism, questioning why anyone would advance technology they believe threatens human civilization.
